On Saturday night they have some type of neon contest...so we gathered up all the lo-lo's and headed up for a good Cali-Swangin type cruise. The local cops were in full force, so not alot could go down. We cruised downtown and the locals know this spot in a lower level parking lot where they can hop...the cops even come by to watch! North of the Border Bash Kitchener - August 2002 |
This year's Border Bash at Bingeman Park was another success for the Costly Obsession crew. The 3 day event drew every type of vehicle you can imagine. The park has had a make-over, and the new site for the show is def a step up from past ones, but the new sod hadn't taken yet, and that left a dustbowl. Last summer's events were almost all plagued by rain...this year they were almost all plagued by dust! Once the park finishes the renovations, next year's show should be sweet. The hop-off should be moved to the pavement right after the judging lanes though....hopping on dirt blows. |
